Thank you to everyone who replied. Very strange as its never happened before. I revisited the car some time later, the heat has returned. I can only assume it must be a sticking thermostat.

I would love to be able to help you on this problem. I bought my Cactus from a year old (demonstrator) . The A/C was always going off, every 6 months did it need refilling. This was done under warrantee, they replaced every part of the system, compressor, condenser, refrigerant, more refrigerant and...

Occasionally when I start the engine my display remains black. It can take up to a minute before it boots up. This does not happen very often. What I have noticed is if there are changes to the system which are noticed by the ECU pre checks eg after refuelling that it can take a few seconds for the ...
Mine were the originals and the metal pivot point had discoloured and looked unsightly so I had no issue with replacing them but you're right, other options do exist and I did take the time to remove the old rubbers from the old ones to see what the process involved. It was straightforward enough. ...

Save yourself pounds. Only ...
My 64 came with disks, they were corroded and didn't offer much braking effect. I replaced them with new disks and pads, Citroen had a special offer which subsidised the costs. What a difference in braking efficiency, the only thing is when the parking brake is applied overnight I have a sudden rele...
My 1.6 BlueHdi has thrown up the Nox sensor fault code. Originally I cleared it and it stayed off for about 3000 miles but it came back on last week. I removed it and cleaned it/checked for broken wires or anything else obvious but couldn't see anything. I have now ordered a new one which I'm waiti...
Reading everyones experience concerning Ad blu related issues. This is one more thing I personally don't want a repetition of. I thought it prudent to buy a quantity from the garage and top up my reservoir. It took about 2.5 litres to fill it but with the limited mileage I am now going to be doing i...

Air Conditioning issues, tell me about it. Yes its me but my complaints are justified. I had an issue from day one with my Cactus. Every service required a top-up. Done under warrantee. Citroen garage replaced the condenser as they claimed it had suffered stone damage. Done under warrantee. Another ...
