Re: Hello from Hull

Hello, just a quick introduction. I have just recently joined the 'Cactus Club' after having owned a C Class Mercedes for the past 4 years. Initially I bought the Cactus (a 65 plate 1.6 blueHDI) purely for economy, especially the mpg and 4 weeks in I am truly impressed. Bought the car from Evans Ha...

It's a child lock, it locks the back doors :)
That is the button above - the red button is not standard, it’s something aftermarket- only way to find out is press it!
The red button activates additional ear piercing air horns to complement the standard horn.

Re: Fuel consumption

Hi all, I have a cactus c4 2018 flair blue hdi diesel. A year in my fuel consumption is combined 44 mpg. Which has dropped by 10 mpg since i got the car. Anyone have any ideas on why? My combined urban motorway is about the same so its baffling! Certainly nowhere near the 80 mpg they advertised! Yo...

My current ave is 36.9.
If this is petrol, its awful. I don't care what members say, it needs attention.

Diesels 2014-17 have a cleaner burning engine and mine delivers 78mpg at 16C.

Re: Wiper blade washer jet

1) is windscreen wash supposed to come out all the way along the blade or just from a section in the middle? 2) is windscreen wash supposed to come out on only one side of the blade (on the up stroke)? 3) has anyone tried putting more holes in the blade to give a better coverage? I have looked into...

Re: Air-Conditioning

Cactus out of warrantee,

Dealership failed to find where the refrigerant was leaking from during warrantee period.

Now I’m expected to find near on £1000 to replace the suspected leaking evaporator now outside warrantee period.

Is this fair or even legal?

Re: So what tyres are we all using?

I don't do a lot of miles so didn't see the need for expensive tyres,so done a search on tyre shopper, and found good reviews on autogreen tyres.Fitted at National tyres for £90 the pair and have found them to be decent. Quiet and smooth running,National tyres quoted £64 a tyre but cheaper going thr...

Re: Citroen Specialist - Leeds area?

Can anyone recommend a Citroen specialist in the Leeds area? My wife's Cactus needs a service, brake pads and a "general engine dysfunction" error looking at (no stored codes with an ODB2 connected and no side effects noted). I don't fancy Evans Halshaw based on my experience of them in the past (a...

Re: Air-Conditioning

Visited a couple of garages, one being a dealership, another who advertises they supply the R1234yf refrigerant. There isn't much difference in prices. The dealership says it is going to be expensive just to have it diagnosed where the leak is. The 'back street' garage still wants £250+ before more ...

Red Button revealed

Any ideas for the red button?? Ha Ha, all will be revealed in the next couple of days. You will all wished you had one :D The red button operates what we all wish we had at times, especially if you live in a congested city. 'Foxtrot Oscar' air horns. Instead of Citroens beep, its now time to be hea...
