Re: 82 or 108 HP?

Both cars are great, do get a Cactus.
The 110 is more powerful, more economical (mine says 50mpg with mixed driving) and tax is only £20 per year for 110, the 82 can't be much less! The 110 may be more to buy but I was sure it was worth it and didn't consider the lower powered option.

Re: High Pitched Whistling Sound at High Speeds

Last weekend, as I proceeded along the M40, the whistling was back...so that is despite the above "fix" being performed by the dealer. I noted the comment on the door being adjusted and will talk to the dealer as the car is booked in for its 3rd year service. I think the "fix" helped as it has been ...

Re: Using loads of screen wash???

Booked in for a service and I mentioned to the technician that there was no longer a low level warning on the washer. He thought that there wasn't one...but he also thought the rattle from the rear windows was due to the winding mechanism... He did know about the door paint issue.

Re: Auto wipers and lights issue

Hi Jacob - On the wipers, I find that auto and intermittent are very similar and wipe a lot. I describe it as off, on a bit, on a bit more and on all the time. From the forum I found that there is no way to extend the period between wipes. I now largely ignore the auto and intermittent and pull the ...

Re: Latest firmware

Excellent thread and I followed the instructions and updated without too much of a hitch. I noted that it took a while and the car needed to be "on" so I did the update during a trip that I knew would take a few hours. Whilst the upgrade worked the sat nav had issues until I restarted the car. I can...

Re: Using loads of screen wash???

I am just booking the final warranty service and want to get the screen wash warning issue fixed...if there is an issue. The issue may be my memory! Is there a warning that the washer fluid is low? Page 225 of the manual mentions the Service light, but it is not clear that that light will illuminate...

Re: Using loads of screen wash???

Is there a warning that the washer fluid is low? Page 225 of the manual mentions the Service light, but it is not clear that that light will illuminate with a message (other levels have a full explanation of a fixed light and message). Mine does run out without a warning.

Stationary idling is an offence under section 42 of the Road Traffic Act! This forum covers everything!

Re: Is it possible to lock a C4 with the engine running?

Whilst it's off the topic of the thread (sorry Norsak, I don't know a trick to leave the car locked and running to cool/heat it with no one inside) can we substantiate the claim that this is an illegal act? I don't think it is, the emergency services do it all the time. Happy to be corrected (every ...

Re: Parking sensors volume

Page 281 of the Manual has "sound Effects" audio setting volume. In Configuration (cog icon) / Audio Settings. That may have an impact? I didn't realise that, according to the manual, the sound comes from the relevant speaker, front or back, left and right. Perhaps check that all the speakers are wo...
