Re: How to update maps

I've managed to update now after help from a member on the FB forum. In my case there were a couple of steps missing/needing to be explained so I could progress. When the message 'checking compatibility' disappears..... PRESS THE RED SQUARE then, MAP SETTINGS then, MAPS, then click SEARCH. It will s...

Re: How to update maps

Hi. Following the instructions I get as far as the checking compatibility screen which then daisapears like is suggested. BUT then I am stuck! Clicking the red square doesn't provide the choices suggested......its just as normal?

Any ideas?

Mike.

Re: No interior fans.....

Can you unplug the fan and the power straight off the battery to check it. I did this with my DS3. Just make up some wire with and inline fuse. My fan was not working, tried it straight off the battery and it worked. My resistor was at fault. New one off eBay was £40.

Disks or drums?

Talking to someone the FB owners club about the rear brakes on my Cactus (after I painted the rusty drums) and he was surprised that I even had drums. I do know that some cars have rear disk brakes but I was under the impression that, due to the issues owners had with corrosion on them, Citroen had ...

Re: BlueHDI fuel filter

Right, I've just replaced my fuel filter on my DS3 today and it's exactly the same. So starting on the right as you look at the filter. 1. Lift the white tab in the middle and then push the outer white bit down while pulling the pipe. 2. On the middle pipe simply push the two white squares opposite ...

Push the orange bit in and then pull the connector off, I think?

Re: Would really appreciate some advice on the following fault

I have just had the same two fault codes and the same UREA ,SERVICE and ENGINE/EMISSIONS fault warning. I've replaced the NoX sensor and cleared the codes and it's ok so far..... Sensor was £220 from Poland, on eBay. It's genuine and about £80 cheaper than the UK. It's an easy job to change it. If y...

Re: NoX sensor

I have an update. As it stood the car was showing the EML and also 'UREA' (no countdown) and SERVICE in orange (it was not due a service) The large display read EMiSSIONS FAULT. Initially it was only the EML. I read the fault code which pointed to the NoX sensor. I cleared the code and the car was f...

Re: NoX sensor

Thanks for the reply. Did you have the exact same issue? And they had to replace your NoX sensor? It's our main car and we do >30k per year so I can't really have too many complaints. It has been reliable so far for over 80k. I've ordered a genuine sensor for £220. So if I have to spend the extra £5...

NoX sensor

My 1.6 BlueHdi has thrown up the Nox sensor fault code. Originally I cleared it and it stayed off for about 3000 miles but it came back on last week. I removed it and cleaned it/checked for broken wires or anything else obvious but couldn't see anything. I have now ordered a new one which I'm waitin...
