Re: Getting used to an automatic Cactus?

Lucky me, I cut my teeth driving a C4 Picasso Hdi with the same type of 6 speed auto change/manual gear box. I quickly learnt how to use the up shift paddle, to down shift I always let the car decide. i had many years and 250,000 miles of happy motoring and am delighted to say my Cactus shares the s...

Re: Would be Cactus owner

I wouldn't be too concerned about buying a used Cactus. I sought out an ex demo car from Citroen and am delighted with it. It's a Flair, complete with all the extra bells and whistles, two years warranty and free tech upgrades for as long as I have the car. I couldn't have asked for more. It's an ab...

Re: New real-world fuel consumption measurements for C4 Cactus

Last week did a round trip Hastings to Bournemouth via Fleet and back, 288 miles clocked on 5 gallons of diesel in my Flair. Quite respectable MPG. I was a little surprised that my smaller, lighter cleaner 1.6 Cactus used more fuel than my old 1,6 C4 Grand Picasso would on the same journey. Both hav...

Re: Delete Contacts

I have had an absolute Gem of a reply from Geevo to my sat nav query about removing redundant addresses . Follow his instructions and you can reset your car to when it was brand new, just as it left the factory. It worked well for me.

Re: Is it worth buying it ?

Sounds like a good deal. My old C4 Grand Picasso had 270k miles on the clock when I traded it in for my Cactus and the engine was still running as good as new. As for the electrical glitches they do appear to be extreme cold and lack of use related. Good luck with your purchase.

Re: Removing previous owners sat nav addresses

Wow, no wonder they don't tell you all this in the manual. Thanks a million. When I bought he car the Sat Nav address book was loaded with Citroen dealer addresses. Even the selling dealer couldn't remove them. They were of no use to me but it was a pain wading through them all to find any of the de...

Removing previous owners sat nav addresses

It may be an age related problem, but after reading the handbook from cover to cover several times, I am still none the wiser on how to remove redundant sat nav addresses. Can someone point me in the right direction. Re-reading the manual doesn't appear to solve issue for me. I purchased my ex-demo ...

Re: Delete Contacts

If you go to telephone primary page select contacts then on bottom of new screen select contacts with the magnifying glass search emblem it opens another page where you can select which ever or all the contacts you wish to remove. I wish getting rid of old addresses in the nav section was as easy. I...

Re: Stop start issue

That's the best attitude. Life's philosophy " Never letting things you have no control over bother you." will keep you in good stead. Worrying only ages you. There are more than enough good points about the Cactus to compensate for the odd glitch.
Enjoy the rest of your Cactus,

Re: Footwell and back ceiling lights installment

Luckily I have a glass roof in my Flair. I simply attached a stick on light above each door and ran the cables forward to the interior lamp assembly. Using the edging around the roof to hide them, no cutting or modifications were required.
Season's greetings to all.
