Re: Photos of reversing camera

Ohh I should get one of these you know  . As you say you get to see part of your own number plate. Or in my case, that the whole plate or other incriminating evidence is not left at the scene.

Re: New to the Cactus C4

Enjoy the Cactus experience. Apart from fuel and the occasional service and weekly checks. There is very little to do except drive it around, and around. If you haven't got a cactus hand book in your dashbox, then either get one, or you`ll be on here asking for assistance. Even though, we``re friend...

Re: Workshop Manual

You are correct, you think the cactus platform was for a space shuttle or something complicated. Fuc& knows how many bodies cover this floorpan and mechanicals. I have one on a cd for my Fiat Stilo (Fiat workshop) and it explained most parts on a microfiche level and how to make tools to serv...

Waving or flashing lights to other owners

Something started by the vehicle recovery dudes after the second battle of countries on the planet :ugeek: Motorcyclists still do this as a acknowledgment of belonging to almost death club by only having two wheels (a long flash right leg out means plod around the corner). I flash my light`s at fell...

Re: Test Drive Tomorrow

Ok, why not hire a van that seats four or five for your holidays. AND you can keep the cactus. Not that I love them or anything. They were made to cost (and it shows when you switch off the ignition and it dont have an accessory mode so everything switches off) Either that or buy a car with roofbars...

Re: Rejection

When I purchased my Cactus at new in july 18, the handling was absolutely shocking at motorway speed in the rain, and driving around even damp roundabouts I needed wipers on my side windows it was so bad (and gave my workmate brown trousers). So after three days of this I checked the tyre pressures....

Re: Ideal treads.

Your going to hate me saying this but road holding is only rubber on tarmac. Softer rubber may be less miles but better road holding. I just love my cheap Chinese tyres, softer compound, better road holding and less decibels. [/quote] Nope compound trashes all. I had a set of Pirelli 056`s 175x55 x1...

Re: 1st gear judder problems, normal ???

Clutch judder is an unbalanced clutch disc/clutch pressure plate or bevelled flywheel, and appears in most dry clutch applications whether manual or solenoid controlled gear boxes. This should not happen to a solenoid/ pre-select gearbox. So get citroen to look at it under your warranty. As it will ...

Ideal treads.

My front tyres are beginning to thin a bit (at 4mm their almost gone and grip is at a premium at the front in the piss) So going to go for a front set of 215 x 60 x 16 B+B+ 68db. Asked my local tyre fitter and he says ` at the front thicker is better` ( I don't know if he means me or the treads. :D)...
