Re: Fuel

This is one subject that does attract polarised opinions even within the trade itself. With my BlueHdi C4 I was advised by a technician at the dealers to avoid supermarket fuel. Fast forward to the present Cactus Puretech petrol. This time the dealer opinion was `They`ll run on anything`. Which take...

Re: 110 owners

I have the 110 and like yours it does have lengthy periods of not being used. However I cant say I`ve noticed anything like your car`s symptoms. In fact I started off quite early this morning, the car having not been used since Tuesday, but it felt fine from the off and ready to go as usual. Sorry I...

Re: firmware update for touch screen.

I`d be wary of doing it, unless essential. I`ve heard of instances where the update has gone wrong/inconclusive and its worse than before and the dealers won`t touch it or is that just Peugeots?

Re: Gear box linkage failure - covered by warranty?

Good glad they are getting it sorted but bad that the doors need replacing at 2 years. I havent seen an Aircross in the flesh yet but looks nice on paper. I had a C3 as a loan car a while back and very much liked it. Anyway best of luck with yours and onwards and upwards..hopefully

Re: Gear box linkage failure - covered by warranty?

Re: 2nd service cost

I took it to a local one round the corner and got an interim service for about £140 all in, ( VAT and whatever needed replacing, oils, fluid etc.) which covered everything I needed, as I've only done 13,000 miles. I told Citroen it was too expensive, so I cancelled the booking I made , all my mates...
