Re: A/C fan(blower) weakens after 30 mins of drive - cactus 2015, 82 hp, manual petrol
Our old Picasso used to have an occasional issue which happened when using the AC on longer trips when it was hot; essentially the condenser froze up, if you turned the AC off for about 15 minutes it would defrost back to normal then it all works again - I have heard of another C4 Cactus owner with ...

Re: Disks or drums?
It’s quite common for Cacti to be registered at a later date but from the previous model year, it’s entirely feasible a 66 plate is a newer build than a 17 As for which is better, the rear brakes essentially just stop the front being overtaken by the back and don’t actually do very much - lighter ca...

Re: Tall driver
Height is no issue, the lack of reach adjustment on the steering wheel is - that’s why I didn’t buy a mk1
The Mk2 is a different beast, currently deciding between one of these or a Volvo V40

Re: Transmission crunching sound
Which engine is this? Is it a turbo PureTech which has got a proper auto or a 1.2 82ps or 1.6 diesel version which has the ETG (automated manual) gearbox? If the latter, you will hear it ‘clack’ as you go between reverse/ neutral/ drive especially on the petrol (by virtue of being quieter) as this i...

To be fair, if you can tell that from looking at the camouflage without seeing the details of the design you’ve got better eyesight than me! Let’s see what the finished product looks like

Re: Need some information on new Citroen C4 Cactus Flair model
They are now hideously expensive new, especially when you consider an 18 month old new cactus flair (all be it a manual) with average miles can be bought for £11k. The Scrappage thing is a bit of a con, you can get £5k off one through broadspeed without having to give them your old car for free! Fla...

Back again
Hello all (again) Always wanted a Cactus, but the lack of reach adjustment on the wheel gave me back ache as I need the seat far back; we now have a caravan so replaced our DS4 with a Passat Estate but still fancy a Cactus... The Passat is the family car which my wife uses during the week - currentl...
