Re: C4 or C3 Decission

Oddly enough I too kept hitting my head on the roof of the C3 when getting in and out!

The downside with the C3 Aircross is it’s a chunky monkey and engine for engine, struggles against the Cactus for performance at least on paper - the 82bhp version must be glacial.

Re: Girly colour?

I wouldn’t call it ‘girly’ and if you like it then it doesn’t matter - personally I don’t like the ‘dune’ bumps because you still keep black wheel arches and other bits which always looks odd; they ought to have changed all the external plastic to the same colours as the air bumps.

Re: Cactus W

I don’t think it had a specific brochure but it is in the price list from about 12 months ago

Re: Dodgy year one service

Adblue is not a service item (ie you pay extra for top up) - whoever spoke to you at Motorpoint was incorrect in saying it would have been done as part of the service.

Put it another way, Citroën don’t do it.

Re: First year service advice

From memory (on my DS3) the flashing symbol means that the system is working OK, but the various criterion haven't been met to allow the engine to stop. Insuffient battery charge is one that comes to mind, the cold weather and indeed the air-con being required are all factors that impact on the S/S...

Re: First year service advice

It’s a Citroën UK offer and dealers only sign be customer up if the customer asks - the large dealer networks try and sign customers up to their servicing offer which is typically much more expensive or would rather not sign people up to the £400 3 year deal as frankly, it’s worth less than paying t...

You may be able to still take out a Citroen service contract. It’s still serviced at Evans Halshaw, but costs £400 for three services.
This isn’t an option any longer - it needs to be taken out before he first service is due.

Re: Would love a Cactus

Go to a dealer and take a test drive telling them fitting in the garage is a deal-breaker; they should let you do this as you won’t be the first.

Re: 3 years and 13k miles...a running report

Just don't expect to get the mileage out of the leaf, my boss had one it was supposed to do 130 miles on a charge. He never got more than 98. It was always a bit of a laugh watching him trying to park by a window so that he could charge it up off a 13amp socket so he could get home😂 As the OP has m...

Re: Space saver correct size?

The space saver will probably have a different rolling circumstance - as it’s limited to 50mph and short term use it’s not an issue. We had to use the space saver on our DS4 a few years ago, it has a much smaller rolling circumference than the standard 18” wheels which meant the dashboard lit up lik...
