Re: Brighten Dash daytime running

Yes :) Ass I remember it light in the display can only be adjusted when the light on the car is switched on. However, you can turn off the light after adjusting the display If you adjust the display brightness with the lights on, then you are adjusting the brightness for only when the lights are on...

Re: New model suspension

Well, my take on the brochure descriptions is that they are pretty accurate and not OTT. The new suspension IS innovative and works really well. Over cobbles or rough roads the ride is very smooth. Even over sleeping policemen in my C5 Aircross there is much less of a bump than there was in my prev...

Re: New model suspension

Solution to #1: slow down over speed bumps; it's what you're supposed to do. There are no cars made that will defy the laws of physics when hitting obstructions in the road. The new suspension is designed to smooth out normal uneven roads, not to make it possible to go fast over physical speed restr...

Re: Fuel consumption

If it's mainly motorway it will have dropped off - I think the ultimate cruising speed for economy is around 60mph, and with my 110 Flair Cactus if I went over 70mph the economy dropped of a cliff. But I still averaged almost 50mpg over 32,000 miles before trade-in... Thanks, that's useful to know....

Re: Fuel consumption

I 32,000 miles in my old car - a Cactus 110 petrol Flair 2019 - and I averaged 49.6 mpg over that mileage, so your diesel should get more than that.

NB. Stop/start makes absolutely no contribution to lower fuel consumption, it is however a contributor to emissions reduction.

Re: CarPlay

Would appreciate assistance with this or I would have to take car back (since it is essential for us all) No C4 Cactus prior to 2019 had Carplay or Mirror. You can connect your phone via Bluetooth to make/receive calls via the screen, and you can connect for music to play from your phone through th...

Re: Citroen Specialist - Leeds area?

Can anyone recommend a Citroen specialist in the Leeds area? My wife's Cactus needs a service, brake pads and a "general engine dysfunction" error looking at (no stored codes with an ODB2 connected and no side effects noted). I don't fancy Evans Halshaw based on my experience of them in the past (a...
