Re: Our third black Citroen

I love the sat nav too. Had lots of lovely drives round vineyards and through farms in rural France. Great news its not just the old one in the 65 plate C4 but the 68 plate C3 has the same feature built in. Last year was so much fun that even a local police man waved as we went past him for the 3rd ...

Re: Under the engine

Surely the mounting holes under the engine are for the undertray for the dirty diesels. It's part of the sound deadening for the louder engine. They will only make one chassis even if it has multiple engine options. There are requirements to achieve drive-by sound levels so reducing drive train and ...

Re: Voici la nouvelle Citroën C4 .

Think it looks very nice, colour is gorgeous,
Worried that it looks very DS (mainstream and sexy) rather than Citroen ( individual and quirky/funky).
It's on my list for when the C4 and C3 aircross go in 5 years time.

Re: 17" alloy wheel offeset

You could try putting your fingers between your existing tyre sidewall and the strut. That's around 10-15mm. That would give a good indication of if they would clear( do it on left and right full lock). Also check clearance on full lock of the inner tyre and the inner wing. As for if the calipers wo...

Re: Engine oil pressure fault - Stop

I got 130,00 miles out of a 1.2 Datsun 120Y. then the cam belt went!
That made a bit of a mess.....which was bad enough!
then I ended up with an MG (maestro)..... you know when you think things can't get any worse and they do!

two lessons in there I think!

Re: cactus workshop manual

good work that man,
better order about 1000. could be a lot of us wouldn't mind one.
I'm planning to get 10 years out of the cactus so would be useful.

Being serious! thanks for the post I'll be on the phone to my local dealer as soon as they are back of the Covid holiday.
