Re: European Aventure

I always have a couple of boxes. That way I can check myself next morning. After all they have a lot of wine in France and it would be rude not to try it.

Re: New Maps

Done the latest upgrade and for the first time ever have found a new road. It on the new estate next to mine. Estate is only 12 months old. So I found that slightly reassuring. Top tip only load the map upgrades you need, reduces the time it takes. France ,Benelux and UK done in about 10 mins. Not p...

Re: Traffic updates

Traffic alerts are std on the info system. Gives option to make detour.
Might need switching on in the sub menu.
Doesn't need Bluetooth
Of course you might be asking a question I haven't answered, in which case my answer might not be much use.

Re: So what tyres are we all using?

Goodyear 4 season.. Looks like around 25000 miles will be the mileage out of the. I can live with that!
As one who squeaks I have always put premium tyres on and some brands I just avoid, Pirelli and Continental spring to mind

Re: Handling issues after tyre change

Confused. How are you going to change from 17" to 16" without changing rims? I totally agree different tyres on the same axle is not good. Different construction and loading rates do make a difference to the compliance ( how much the tyre squashes, deflect etc) and different roll resistance ( fricti...

Sticking brake calliper

Re: Stutter under hard acceleration

Yes it is! Dealers know about it, but usually trot out some guff about nothing showing in the fault logs. I believe that there is a couple of tsb's which include changing spark plugs if your vehicle is on the VIN list. Several have had the problem including me but mine now seems OK since the last se...
