Re: So what tyres are we all using?

Goodyear 4 season.. Looks like around 25000 miles will be the mileage out of the. I can live with that!
As one who squeaks I have always put premium tyres on and some brands I just avoid, Pirelli and Continental spring to mind

Re: Handling issues after tyre change

Confused. How are you going to change from 17" to 16" without changing rims? I totally agree different tyres on the same axle is not good. Different construction and loading rates do make a difference to the compliance ( how much the tyre squashes, deflect etc) and different roll resistance ( fricti...

Re: Air-Conditioning

I got 14 years out of a Renault Clio air con.no regas or anything.
Just made sure it was used once a week minimum.
Daughters C1 is 6 years and still fine.
If it's not used seals harden and gas leaks away.

Re: Extended Warranty?

I'm in same position. Next week is last service and first MOT. Have decided to trust my local service station after that. I have used them for 30 years, they always do a good job without taking the p*** and don't charge the earth. Guess means I'm lucky as I won't pay through the nose for the jobs I ...

Re: Latest firmware

If you do the firmware update during the update your screen will look more like a std old school screen as per the old days of ms-dos. It checks sectors, loads new files, removes old files and eventually it comes back to the interface that we all know and love.🤡 It takes around 1/2 hour and that's h...
