Re: Help please I've lost my knob.

If you want some really good news?

It would appear the knob isn't listed as a spare part on the service.citroen.com website, so the only way to get a new knob is to get the whole display unit...........

Sit down it's only £823!!!!!

Happy rooting around!

Re: Nice one!

On my Cactus which I had from new for 3 years, the heater would pump out warm air before I reached the end of my road! Never failed to. That was a 110 petrol engine. In my current car it's just as efficient. Just to endorse this comment. That's been our experience with our 82bhp model. I reckon les...

Re: Sat Nav installation?

I have to agree with others when they say get a TomTom. Certainly the built in jobby is neat and convenient but I don't find PSA navigation systems particularly good. We have a Cactus with the SMEG system and a DS5 with RNEG/RT6 system. Traffic problem notification and re-routing options, speed came...

Re: Workshop Manual

You're right you will probably never find a workshop manual for the Cactus. What I have done, is to sign up to service.citroen.com. The site is what independent garages as well as main dealers use. When you sign up you have to pretend you are a garage but apart from that it is straightforward to do....

Re: Door rim corrosion

We get our front doors changed next Tuesday (19th), hope it doesn't take too long to complete When the weather warms up the air bumps expand, they have a tendency to push the paint off the doors. It won't show up in cold weather, only when direct sunlight heats the air bumps above 25c and the paint...

Re: New owner-potential engine problem?

I think you might have answered your own question in the last paragraph of your post. i.e 6 month warranty. I'd get it back to the garage ASAP and get them to fix it under warranty. I've done some research and these sensors can be a bit pricey i.e 100 quid. Good luck

Re: Latest map

It might be worth a re-try. I actually downloaded the file, 42050.zip yesterday. To check Ii wasn't dreaming, I've attempted it again today and it is still 42050.zip. If all else fails, you might have to do a Google search. I think there are a couple of Peugeot sites that post sat nav files. The onl...
