My new company car.....

110 Flair, black with red bits, no pano roof. As expected, no Jukebox and no glovebox USB, neither of which is a big worry.

The big disappointment is no split rear seat. Not something I would need often but sod's law there will be a time when it will frustrate me.

I have the jukebox and the glovebox USB but I certainly don't think I would miss the glovebox USB - I take it you still have the other one

Also never seen the problem with no split rear seat I can count on one hand (and have spare fingers) how many times I used it in last car

Nice looking car though and same colour as mine - enjoy

Excellent ;) With roof bars you could always improvise a lash up :)

Good thinking....something like this perhaps?

Yes! I've done that without roof rails with a Renault 19 :(

So here are my moans after less than a week. Mostly down to Citroen penny (cent?) pinching....

Interior light is rubbish. At least make the Flair special with some foot-well lights, door opening lights, rear cabin light etc. LEDs are so cheap that this would have virtually zero cost impact at time of manufacture.

Sun visors. Mirror is on the drivers side. My assumption is that this is the same part as used on LHD so in France and elsewhere where they drive on the wrong side its on the passenger side. My missus is always checking her make-up when she's a passenger and no mirror in not good.

Arm-rest. Great to have it but it is badly designed and does affect gear changing.

No rear power-socket. Same as lights, easy to include, useful to have and very difficult to add later.

My final point I might be wrong on. I don't think the console thingy can use anything other than a Citroen Mulicity Connect device. Would be better if it could also use any 3G/4G sim or via a mobile phone 'hot spot'. The after-market 7" touch-screen radio/sat-nav/CD/bluetooth combo in my wife's Megan cost a littler over £100 and does almost all the Citroen console does plus connect via any suitable mobile 3G/4G service or wifi.

Fuel consumption still under 40mpg but early days yet and hopeful of improvement as it loosens up. My 18 year old Escort 1.8 does better with 147,000 miles on the clock.

The reason for no passenger visor mirror is the roof mounted airbag :)

Tablet can connect to your phone, but it is so slow as to be unusable :-(

Good point - just vinyl in your face rather than a glass mirror in the event of an accident and airbag going off. Maybe I'll suggest she leaves a hand mirror in the glove box

Interesting read..... I actually think the interior light is nice and bright but of course its personal preference.

Can I ask what the rear power socket is for ?

I think we had one in the boot of our old car but never used it and had no idea what it was for - is it something for caravaning or to put a fridge in the boot or something

Correct, a bit of a novelty but great for air/tyre pump, camping fridge, extra charger for mobiles, tablets etc. Not saying we all need such things but for a few coppers could be added as standard like on numerous other cars.

Ahhh right I see......

Well I suppose no matter what they cut out some will miss. A lot of people don't like the missing wind down rear window's for example but I think the flip out ones will be great on the motorway on a hot day - less buffeting noise
