Hi, if possible could people list the baby seats they have fitted successfully to the Cactus rear seats please, make/model and link if possible.

I have read that not all baby car seats fit all cars etc, so any clues on baby-seats that fit would be helpful thanks. Any price range.

Baby not due to July, so any replies welcome, thanks.

Well, I never heard this. I thought it was standard.
I have two kids and all seats fitted in all cars we had.

I highly recommend this one:

Nuna Rebl

With 500ish euro pretty expensive but the best money you will ever spend. The rotating seat makes for much easier entering/exiting. And it uses isofix which the cactus, being a modern car, has as well.

They also do a maxi cosi chair from nuna which is handier for the first 6 to 10 months.

Just have a look at their site http://www.nuna.eu

This has a great function that I wish I'd discovered for the previous one!
Swivel the seat round to face you when putting baby in car, then swivel it around to face front when done! it reclines as well.
It is for age 9 month+ ( my 6 month has been in it for about 4 weeks though as the first baby seat group 0 was too small!)
Very solid car seat, my son doesn't complain at all.

this is the group 0 version which you will require

We have also not long got a Cactus AND a baby and got a Cybex Sirona car seat, it swivels, has a new born insert and will cope with a child up to the age of 4 apparently as you can have it forward facing when they get bigger. Really great car seat, not cheap but we think well worth the extra! Comfort Chair Font Armrest Rectangle

I hoped all car seats would fit all cars, but there are lots of baby-car seats on Amazon with reviews of various different seats pointing out that not all seats fit all cars, due to tiny things like having a back seat in your car that has a rise in the seat area etc, plus loads of other small reasons for other seats not fitting etc.

There is an online compatibility for baby seats/cars, but the Cactus is not yet on most compatibility lists which does not help. :D

As for compatibility go for the isofix system. Whatever you do, go for isofix. It means the seat gets attached to the structure of the car instead of with seatbelts. And I can tell you the cactus can work with that system. So no need for any compatibility sheets...

I've had my son's isofix fitted via the 2 isofix sockets on both sides of the car, with 2 different isofix seats without any issues. The Cactus back seat is flat with no apparent rise in the middle if I remember correctly?

Thanks for the replies, I ordered the baby seat from mothercare so I will see if it fits when it arrives and I will post etc.

Check that your Isofix seat is approved for use in your particular vehicle. Isofix seats will not fit in every car with Isofix points."
