PAGE 25 for list of cars. C4 pollutes least, but nothing on C4 Cactus, which I presume would pollute even less.
Also worthy of consideration are the following two articles:

https://www.greenleft.org.au/node/9927

This refers to the carcinogenic compounds in unleaded fuel - how long will it be before diesels are exonerated and petrol becomes the new bad?

The second article compares pollution in the average smokers' house to that on the roads:

http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/news/14286266.Smoker_s_home_more_toxic_than_pubs_before_cigarette_ban__study_shows/

When you consider the amount of black smoke which used to be emitted by diesels in days gone by, the level of pollution must be diminishing. It would also be useful to compute the amount of pollution dropping from the skies as a result of air travel.

But let's not forget that the motorist is an easy target...

The Cactus is nowhere at the top. I have an automatic which is EURO cat 5. The new ones are Blue 100 and ate more improved since mine. All Diesels are not squeaky clean but the Cactus is not at the top.
