Ok, so not the longest journey but to achieve this close to the manufacturers figures is pretty surprising!

There are a lot of diesel owners who will envy you as they can't get anywhere near Citroen's stated figures and obviously it is possible in certain circumstances.

78 mpg today mostly at 50 mph. A round trip of 80 miles.

OK...so whats our worst between fill ups??...

On my 100 HDi Blue and not even trying I returned a measly 39.7MPG :)

I only fill up with Shell Nitro diesel, as I used in my last C3 and my new C1. It is very cheap as it competes with Supermarkets all around. Both the cars drive quite fast.

I've achieved 85 mpg. Although at the moment I'm averaging about 76. Also I did see for a few short miles on a slow bit of motorway 117mpg. That would be a great average but I'm guessing not very achievable.
