Just a warning to be very careful with the key. My Cactus C4 key has snapped in half after bumping it very very lightly with my knee. I was surprised how easily it broke. It left the other half of the key inside the ignition. Citroen charge £160 for a new key.

Don't panic yet, those pop-up keys all have one thing in common. the key comb is attached to the hinge with a very tiny steel pin that breaks on impact. replace the pin and the key is fixed. it is supposed to break easy as pup-up keys ar rather big and you don't want to end up with a piece of key inside your knee when having an accident. those pins should be easy to find.

on this picture you can see the pinhole, the cactus key has exactly one like that but it is only visible with the key half open.

Unfort mine wasn't the pin but the actual key bit. BUT GOOD NEWS! After contacting Citroen Head Office they have agreed to cover the cost of a replacement. Thanks, Citroen!
