This meet was over the Fri, Sat and Sunday, we decided to get up just after 6am and set off at 7.30 to get there about 9.30. A reasonable time we thought, as other car shows we go to have well and truly started by 10am. We asked if this was indeed the Citroen show and was told yes it certainly is, we could see about 6 or 7 Citroens and a few other cars. We suddenly thought 'your kidding' had we really got up at 6am on a Sunday for this. Told to park where ever we wanted handed over our £5 and parked up. So until the 'masses' turned up we went over to the car boot to kill a bit of time. No dogs allowed in the car boot (not Citroen club) so we went back for a coffee and watched the 'masses' turn up, NOT!!, chap on the gate said no one had turned up Saturday, so today was the 'biggie'. Really?? One other Cactus, didn't see anyone near to chat, so chatted to a chap who had a cactus but not come in it. After looking at the advertising and what was going to be there (trade stands etc) we were 100% sure we'd gone to the wrong place. We left just after 11.30 (plenty of time for a car show to be in full swing), had a pleasent afternoon in Bridlington and then drove home. That was an awefull long way to go to the worst car show we've ever been to. Only our opinion based on our experience, would we go to another, we wont be holding our breath.
