Are anyone's roof rails loose?? Im a new owner and love the car, and race mountain bikes. Wanted to use the cactus when out without the family (we have a VW t5 as family wagon) but my rails are pretty loose. A good couple of mm play in both and not confident about putting bars and bikes on top....., any advice??

Take it into your dealer to get them tightened up. They shouldn't be loose.

Thanks Muddles. Did that yesterday. Tightened as much as they say they are comfortable doing, and still a bit of play in them. Is it possible to over tighten? I wonder if there is a max torque value? I'll see if I can find one and do the job myself

They look really good @Southcoastcactus I had "whispbar racks" on my other picasso citroen and they were totally silent. Unfortunately they don't fit on my cactus. Maybe for some of you if you want a slightly cheaper alternative that is silent and sleek look on the car as well as Thule??
