Here's Bounty !

Post by BananasSplitter » Wed Feb 28, 2018 2:13 pm

Hello everyone !

I'm glad to be back in the Cactus family 8-) !

After a year driving a Suzuki swift sport, I'm back with a Cactus as I have some family project.

My future Cactus will be a 1.6 e-HDI 92CV ShineEd automatic from 2014.

It's white with brown airbumps. It has almost all options, except leather and heating seats.

If everythings goes as expected, I'll have it next Tuesday. Can't wait

Yes it totally is, at first sight on pictures I wasn't a big fan (my previous Cactus was Grey Shark with black Airbumps) and I'd prefer to have black bumps but when I saw it by my own eyes I felt in love with it

One week since I've get my Cactus and - wow - such a pleasure to drive it again on a daily basis
After 5 days without S&S working it finally started to works on Saturday night - certainly the battery that needed to be recharged completly.

I've took the car to a specialist to make professionnal control of the car - while it's still covered by the warranty.

The report says that everythings is OK, the right rear wing and the boot have certainly been repainted (but it's not visible by eyes).
There was an old error code in the ODB P0119A (or smthg like that) but asit's old and I didn't get since I've got the car, I think it has been repaired (I'll keep an eye on that).

To conclude, here's some pics of the car, with its snow wheels.

I've added some ambient light:

And, finally, I've bought a key-cover on Wish:

Sorry you have had an accident with a parking wall, I'm happy for you to have a white car and not a difficult yellow one like mine.

When you get it sorted, keep an eye on the paint round the edge of the air bump. Heat expands these air-bumps quite significantly which tends to drag the paint up the lip in the door. The rippling of paint is usually caused by sprayers rushing the paint job, insufficient time for the lacquer to harden before replacing the air bump(s)
