Citroen has just changed all my doors, there was only clear rust on one.
It took them 2 days, but they turned the lists wrong on the back doors so they were not tight and water penetrated so it had to come back in for 1 day ...

Did you go through Citroen UK or local Citroen dealership?

Contacted my local dealership. The independent dealer I bought has said they could look at it as I have just got it (its only a small area but I assume a warranty claim if they replace the door is better than a sand and respray which may not prevent reoccurance).

Does seem strange how its just doors.

Our car (registered October 2015) is not yet showing any sign of this issue and apparently there are other owners also without any problem.
Discussions have suggested a design fault (which presumably would affect just about all vehicles) or what seems more likely to me: some quality control deficiency with regard to material or manufacturing / painting processes.

Don’t worry, it’s not just you who has rear door rim corrosion. I had this symptom and only noticed through reading this forum. Citroen replaced 2 new rear doors under warranty with no argument. Mine is the (2014) 1.6Hdi.

When were they replaced? My local Citroen dealer is an Evans Halshaw, who say it needs to be done via their body workshop. Hopefully its a well known issue, so that it is done without a fuss. That they are simply replacing the doors sounds like they've sourced better doors.

Mine is a Sept 2015 build. Car is spotless, drives great, just the corrosion that seems a problem.

We have the same issue on our Deep Purple -15. We noticed it quite late but luckily within warranty

My local dealership replaced both doors in Cranswick, East Yorkshire.

I have since been offered a paintwork warrantee for £70/annum which I think may be worth paying for as Citroen have a bad reputation for corrosion. Regrettably my Cactus has been the worse Citroen I have ever owned, so much has gone wrong with it for a 4 year old motor.
