Have got my Cactus back today and must say the Citroen body shop that did the paintwork have done an incredible job. No marking to the paintwork at all near the airbumps and everything perfect. More than happy :D They did paint the new doors last week and gave them at least 5 days for the paint to harden so may have been the reason for having no marks.

2 pics of the Drivers door ( excuse the splashes but drove home in torrential rain )

Do not be so sure poacher. My second time was all perfect but after first washing problem appears again. Test it press the sirbump to see if it no extra paint around the air bump.

I did not see any extra paint round the airbumps george0083, but will keep an eye out for anything over the next few weeks.

Feel like a fool, I am spraypainter and just bought a 15 plate Cactus, notice the doors are rusting at the sealer on the bottom of 3 of the doors . Annoying that I never checked before buying it . Not a big problem to fix . But one I could do without

This is ridiculous. I will be approaching Citroen on the matter of the rust and the brakes.

Pretty damn poor for a 64 reg and your 15 plate.

It could be a design fault, only noticeable on the rear doors.

Just got our 16 plate flair this week and I can see that I have the same problem on all doors, although I can't see any rust, the paint looks like it is bubbling on the lower seal. Could this just be a bad paint job or is this definitely a sign of rust? Has anybody had the doors repaired rather than replaced? (Changing the doors seems like a drastic measure for something you cannot see) I'll post some pics tomorrow when it is light. Apart from that the missus is pretty pleased with it.

OK, here's the worst of it. Only on 3 doors. Is this something I need to worry about, or is it normal? Would this be covered by the 12 year anti-perforation warranty if it turns out to be rust down the line?
