Wiper blade removal
Wiper blade removal
Anyone know how to remove the wiper blades from the arms? The owner manual says to unclimbed them. I can see a couple of arrows which I assume are squeeze points, but I can’t figure out which way to pull the blade once I have squeezed, or how much of it comes away. Im a bit wary of breaking something.

That’s great, thanks very much. It was the “pulling “ direction that I was concerned about.

Re: Wiper blade removal
I’ve still not managed to get the blades off. The squeezy bits don’t seem to squeeze very much, and I’m worried about breaking something. Maybe the plastic is too cold at the moment.

Re: Wiper blade removal
Finally managed to get the wiper blades off, (I was doing it wrong) and made sure the little jets are not blocked. While operating the washers with the bonnet open, I noticed washer fluid dripping from under the wheel arch. So after figuring out how to remove the inner grill, I found a massive hole in the washer pipe where it has been rubber by the mechanism. I seem to remember reading another post about this, but I can’t find it. Hopefully this will be covered by the warranty. If not, it shouldn’t be too difficult to fix myself, if I can get a piece of hose of the correct diameter.

Popped into the dealer yesterday. They fixed it under warranty, and also replaced the pollen filter, which had got wet. Job done. Thumbs up to the dealer.

yep Noticed ours was the same when we bought it they did fix it make sure the pipe is in the clip maybe put a cable tie around it to stop it from moving.
Re: Wiper blade removal
Dealer did that too. It’s not going anywhere near the wiper mechanism now
