Cars value

Post by sjhaycroft » Wed Aug 29, 2018 7:04 am

Hey guys. I'm thinking of selling my 110 flair and am not really sure of what I should be looking at getting for it. 65 plate in silver, black bumps, stop start and all the trimmings. Arnold Clark has said £7785 cash for it but I don't have a client that's fair. Ideas guys?

I have same as you, but with leather trim which is apparantly a big seller, and my dealer, Perrys Barnsley, offered me £9k early this year when the last of the `old` Cactus were being sold off. Admittedly that was against a new one.

I generally try and get an estimate of the value by tapping in the detail on’s website. You will never get the price they quote if you sell to them, but I reckon their valuation is pretty close to what I’d expect from a trade in. At least it is a starting point. At the end of the day a car is only worth what somebody is prepared to pay for it.
