Hi Everyone,

I bought a Citroen c4 2016 connectNav usedcar recently. I have problem with navigation system. I could never see maps as it keep saying insert mapping update memory stick. If I don’t update I’ll it not load maps? I also tried updating but it says “Zero free bytes”. How to Check Memory and is there any memory stick for navigation? It’s been 1 month since I bought and I couldn’t use navigation yet, it’s very frustrating. Please suggest some solution

Is it a Cactus you have, and if so, what model is it?

I'm wondering if you would be better to look for answers on a dedicated Citroen C4 forum like http://c4owners.org/

The C4 Cactus is an entirely different beast in as much a 2016 model wouldn't have connectNav but uses the SMEG system.

Whoops! The link on this site is for 42050.ZIP. The latest maps are actually 42083.ZIP. Sorry. Perhaps you could try a Google search for 42083.ZIP. Generally Peugeot forums tend to be more fruitful than Citroen forums for stuff like this.
I cant get the key generator to generate an activation code. Just pops up with an error but doesn't tell me anything.

Latest map update done ..... the only thing that I forgot from last time, is that you can't upload the update as a folder to the USB ( car doesn't recognise it ) so I had to go back to the PC and replace the folder with the files :D

Cheers

If you're having problems with your thumb drive ( data key) try this:

Buy a cheap SD card reader, format the SD card in your computer (or camera if you computer doesn't do FAT32, then put it in the reader and plugging it into your computer). Load the files, and you're good to go. It doesn't seem to matter how big the SD card is, either - although this may need experimentation. I used a 32GB card.

This is the kind of thing I used https://m.lightinthebox.com/en/p/litbes ... _cid=60961
