Front armrest for new Cactus

The storage 'armrest' between the front seats of the new Cactus is set too far back for the driver to rest an arm. My dealer tells me that there is no option to replace it. Would anyone happen to know of an after-market alternative that you can actually rest your left elbow on?

Hello Ian,

I was thinking the same thing today as I drove along the A303. It's one thing I liked about the first version, the bench seat and the arm rest. I didn't find the seats as comfortable, though.

I was considering having a go at this sometime, so I'll let you know if I'm successful. It'll need to avoid the handbrake and still allow access to the storage, as that's where I hide all my sweets!

A bit of a shame to add something home-made to a new car, though. I wonder if I can get the same material...

Just noticed - you've got a Deep Purple too. But mine's a Feel with manual box, though.
