Hi Guys :),
Nice to be here.

As first message in this fantastic forum would like to ask a question :)
What winter tyres do you use? How much should i spend?

Thanks a lot for all the answers

Currently using Michelin Alpin but in fairness we haven't had a bad winter over the last couple of years to really test them. I have in the past used Hankook winter tyres (can't remember the model name) and they performed really well in snow. I am coming around to wondering if cross climate tyres are the way forward. A recent article in Autoexpress was interesting http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/accessorie ... res-tested

I'd recommend Michelin crossclimates without doubt. They tick all the boxes all year round and save all the hassle of changing and storing tyres. Ultimately saving you money.

Before my Cactus I had a C4 whose handling left a lot to be desired. A set of Cross Climates changed all that as well as being quieter as well. But the roadholding is excellent with them.

I'm running Goodyear 4season gen2.
Brilliant!
Other option was cross climate but made by Michelin I won't touch them.
Previously on C3 I had Falken as200 but technology moves on.

But to each his own!
