pheasant stuck behind front grill

Post by pancake420 » Sat Mar 16, 2019 9:17 pm

hi there, whilst driving to work this morning I unfortunately ran into a couple of pheasants, one of which has lodged itself behind the front grill. no idea how it could have ended up in there as there seems no space for such an occurrence . worse still, I cannot find a way to get it out, barring removing the front bumper (which looks complicated). any suggestions?

Brings to mind an AA friend of mine who got called out to an Audi RS that had hit a rabbit, front of the car had a rabbit head looking out the front grill. The rest of the very unwell rabbit had pushed the oil pump through the intercooler through the radiator or some such, basically in loosing it's life the rabbit had written off the Audi so all was not lost.

Probably removing the front would be the only option to ensure no other damage but failing that it might be possible to jetwash the remains out.
