Thinking of buying a C4

Post by Ianfiat » Mon May 20, 2019 8:31 pm

Now my 2004 Fiat Panda is coming to the end of its natural life (I’ve had it from new) I’m looking for a replacement and the C4 cactus. (2018 version 109hp Flair) has caught my eye.

I know I am unusual, but I will be paying cash for my next car, and it will have to last for a long time >10 years So the choice of car is a big decision for me.

I’ve had a poke around the C4 and I really like it- I like that it has it’s own character.

What is the C4 like to own over a longer period?
What are the servicing costs like?
Will the touch screen still be working in 5 years time?
Is Grip control worth having?

I know the Salesman at my local Citroën Dealer had a C3 Aircross with Grip Control and during the Beast from the East snow we had here in the South Wales Valleys he wa getting around places were 4x4s were struggling.

If I had the money I most probably had paid the extra for it.

I think the extra £100 for the Black Alloys is well worth it. Won’t have to worry about the Diamond Cut ones corroding and the black ones stand out more.
