Quite heartened that my new car is, as I should’ve expected, SMEG free.
Good luck devil bashing.

After 4,000 miles in a MY 2019 110 6 speed manual Flair, here is my feedback:

Likes
Massively comfortable seat, even for over three hours.
Quiet and pokey on the motorway, even at outside lane cruising speeds there is enough in reserve for hills.
Reasonably economical, but only use V Power petrol. Averaging around 42.5mpg, but does get driven quite hard.
Screenwash lasts ages.
Good visibility.
DAB & Bluetooth reception good (but is still a new car!).
No oil used.
Gearbox and clutch light.
Greet/follow-home headlights stay on for a minute.

Dislikes
Centre armrest. Is too far back, flimsy and impossible to use when on the move as lid doesn't open wide enough or remain open.
Cup holders.
No courtesy wipe after washing screen or single 'flick' to wipe.
Interior lighting not brilliant. Map lights don't work without ignition being switched on.
Clock doesn't keep time or use RDS signal to self-correct. Difficult to find in menu.
No rev counter.
Rear headroom poor. Interior space not great given the vehicle's size.

However, the proof is in the pudding. I recently chose it over our Leon Cupra estate to do a long journey, despite the latter being automatic. Very comfortable and unique!

You don't mention if you have built-in satnav - if you have, then according to the User manual for your model you can choose:

- To change the display format of the date and time (12h/24h).
- To activate or deactivate the summer/winter time management function.
- To activate or deactivate the synchronisation with the GPS (UTC).

With the GPS synchronisation active, the clock time should always be "correct".

That's useful information, thank you! The car does have built-in navigation, which seems pretty decent at finding sensible routes compared to our Seat's. I'll have a look at the weekend.
I forgot to mention resetting the auto wiper function every time the car starts being a pain. The original floor mats, since upgraded to rubber Cactus versions, were pretty flimsy.
