Mine came from the repair shop yesterday - the recommended procedure was to add two strips that are glued underneath the door seals (which coincidentally now come installed in more recent models). Not only this didn't solve the issue as it has caused for the left door to also start whistling. Now, my left door starts whistling around 130Km/h, while my right door starts around 140-150Km/h. The guys from the repair shop already contacted Citroen, asking for an alternative solution. Now, let's wait.

New developments: as expected (and confirming what has already been said on this thread), technical services required the repair shop to perform a door adjustment procedure.

Apologies for digging this out of the archives...following a drive down the M5 yesterday into strong headwinds my drivers door is making a horrendous howl.

Thanks for all the info re the door seals and positioning...time to get it booked in :)

Heard the whistling noise yesterday strong winds here in Scotland, seems to be crosswinds causing the problem.Checked the rubber seals on doors and both were short of indent on front doors. When door is closed there is a gap between plastic on doors and rubber seals, referred to photo on page 3 and managed to move seals down enough to close the gap.Weather still windy took car for run on same route and no whistling noise was heard.Hopefully that sorted it.

Also noticed there are two indents on door where rubber seal stops.I only managed to push rubber down to first indentation.Don't know if it should be at second one, anyone know?

Been scrolling through trying to find this thread.

So this was just a warning to all you cactus owners out there who haven't had whistling wind noise.

My cactus has been a dream for 20,000 miles, majority of which has been motorway driving. BUT for the last 1000 or so miles I have started notice this whistling coming from the nearside window.

So my advice would be to get them sorted while under warranty, even if you dont have the whistling yet because there is a chance it will start. As I said mine didnt start till 20,000+ miles.

Will be taking it to the dealers in the new year.

Maybe unconnected but just an observation. I was having a look at my indicator repeaters and notice they are installed plastic to metal without any form of rubber gasket.
Whilst I am more concerned about the ingress of water than whistling I have ordered a small sheet of 1mm neoprene from Amazon to make some gaskets. Their location "into wind" may just cause some whistling at speed.

Interesting might look at that in the new year, I think I did hear it once for a few seconds a while back but not before or since. Been out today both on motorway and country road and its been very windy here and no noise so its a weird one. Obviously the wind has to be just so to make it happen
