Ohh, BTW, i have geared mine a bit, the tires are 205/55/17 where the stock is 50 profile, the benefit is that now the speedo is dead on accurate and the MPG numbers too. The difference is about 4%

I think its fine, but i have only tried it with these tires, and my 15" winters, and on the 15" it feels like a boat

That's a nice touch and you get more rubber on the rims also that gives more comfort and better looks :)

I'm driving about 50 miles per day on my commute, about 30 mins each way, I'm getting 56.4 mpg over the course of a month, I travelled 458 miles to the Midlands last week up a clear m5 and a achieved 68mpg!

:just done 1500+ miles to France and back.
Avoided the tolls and used the sat nav routes.
Got an indicated 55.3 mpg from 110 turbo
This included lots of roundabout on the French "A" roads, a couple of runs up and down the Mulsanne straight and a rather joyous run from Dover to Stoke which took 7 hours (average speed 39mph- M2, M25, M1 and A50)
I thought it did well for non diesel!

Well done indeed, slightly more miles than me and a little better than my 110 did..We did some toll roads but tended to use the cruise control a lot of the time. The pain with the non tolls was the number of hamlets and villages where you have to drop down to 50kms in case of lurking Gendarmes  using fuel and losing time. We used Portsmouth and did ok back up to near Leeds, until we got to the M1 where late evening was a mass of lane closures and 50`s. But well pleased with ours, never missed a beat :D

Ooh...now this belongs in another thread too regarding different wheels. These are the same wheels on my c3 picasso at 17".

Looks odd seeing them on the Cactus...
