New Citroen E-Mehari, any thoughts?

Post by CactusBob » Thu May 25, 2017 11:11 pm

Any thoughts on the new Citroen E-Mehari? The original Mehari was a classic, a plastic body on a 2CV chassis. This new one is all electric, has a plastic body and a Cactus-ish face. But it's a joint project between Citroen and Bollore cars. The Citroen is really a Bollore Bluesummer electric car with different body panels.

It's an interesting and quirky car, glad Citroen are making odd and wacky cars again! It even comes in a blue that is very close to the blue lagoon colour of my Cactus! But it's slow and I don't think it comes with side screens. A bit like the Renault Twizy I guess.

Prefer the Red, but I definitely echo your sentiment about Citroen finding their mojo again.

I hope they continue to push automotive styling boundary's, I really want to see where they go.....a real design resurgence :-D

Great quirky little car, I echo previous comments.

Not an ideal car for the UK tho, due to our weather
