Touch screen cutting out

I've only had our C4 a short while and it does the same.. Try not to use DAB whilst driving... As soon as I swapped back to FM the cut outs stopped.
No idea what's going on but my guess is signal strength is lacking and the unit doesn't know how to cope so reboots.

My 2016 is doing this......andI have just a few days ago tuned into the BBC on DAB. So it seems that this is indeed the issue. I will give up and go back to FM. I am gonna trade in soon I think? It has been a great car and I have done 94k in less than three years. But it just feels like things are starting to go wrong lately!

Our 16 Plate Catus is doing the same thing, screen cuts out constantly, Have tried the FM/DAD thing as suggested, but doesn't always work, still cuts out about to do the maps update. But i dont hold any hope that it will fix anything else. I've been through the forum on this subject, but cant see any real fix other than new screen, i have no intention of paying Citroen £900 to do that.

Is there anywhere that records how many of us have this issue?

I have a 2017 C4 and it cuts out on every station every 2-3 minutes, car has only done 19k miles

It only happens with BBC DAB, tune in to any other and it is fine.

Make sure DAB is not tuned to BBC station and it should be okay.

Fixed ! I had the safety recall for brakes and the software and took in for fixing and mentioned this rebooting problem and they updated the touchscreen software too .....for free.

A week ago I decided to bite the bullet and update the SMEG software myself. After working out how to unzip the files and put them on my clean USB stick I sat in the car with the engine running for about 35 mins and the operation went well. When it is finished it doesn't tell you, it just reads the USB again and asks if you want to update it from the new program to the same program..! Just say no to this and all should be well. Since updating I have left it on BBC DAB with no cut-outs. Before that it was every few minutes. I have been in touch with the BBC and with Citroen. BBC said it wasn't them and Citroen Customer Services phoned me and spent about 20 minutes, not accepting any responsibility, just saying I should take it to a Main Dealer for an inspection of the fault and possible update (at £100). It seems that it is a glitch in the software and the update seems to work. I feel this should be a free recall by Citroen.
