Isofix issue

Post by verma99 » Sun Jul 22, 2018 5:34 pm

Afternoon all hoping someone can help.. Got a year old cactus and recently bought a venicci travel set with a isofix but having issues attaching this as per pictures.. The isofix connection works fine as tried a screwdriver into the connections and clips fine but when trying to mount into the isofix points on the cactus they don't clip and seems like the points aren't long enough or the seat is stopping it going further?

What I have noticed is some isofix bases only being 2 long arms that clip in whereas mine has the 2 grey clips on top but these show the green and red safety bits and unlocks the base too.

Any help would be much appreciated thanks

I have no problem using the isofix in my Cactus but indeed, my isofix fixation arms are longer than yours

Like BananasSplitter I also have no issues with isofix but my seat has longer, thinner arms than yours. Are those grey bits removable?

Edit: Just looking again are the grey bits the levers that allow removal of the seat? Presumably not removable if that's the case :(

I’m wondering if the arms extend in some way, and the grey bits are a release leaver.
