Swap my brand new (68) alloys

Post by stuartm18 » Sun Dec 16, 2018 10:31 am

Hello I'm excited to have my cactus flair delivered on Christmas Eve.

However I would prefer the black alloys rather than the silver/black it comes with as it goes better with my white car

Anyone want to swap their black 17 inch (like pic) for my silver (like pic) with no miles on them?

I was going to suggest just spraying the silver alloys with black enamel paint.
If it isn't successful, thinners will remove it.

Yes I had thought about that too. But don't want to spend any money on it really.

I have spanking new alloys with zero miles, so they are worth lot more to sell, but I would prefer a straight swap with someone as less hassle.

I also asked the dealer if thry6 could swap them (they had a few cactus with black alloys) but he said it not possible as they are part of each cars specification. It seems that the diesel get the black alloys as standard more than the petrol variant.
