Touch Screen - woes

Post by Nsw1654 » Sat Dec 29, 2018 10:16 am

Hi folks

I’ve had a quick search through it can’t see an answer that might fit.
My daughters C4 Cactus touch screen keeps switching itself off and then on again. Can do this several times in a row and then not again for a while. Will a system update sort this out? Or is there a reset switch combo to try. Or as a last resort a trip to the dealer. The vehicle is still in warranty. Thank you all. :?

This seems to me to be a relatively unusual issue and my suggestion is to follow the warranty route via the dealer...

Hi
I had a similar fault to this at the beginning of 2018. Very intermittent. The dealer did a software update and since then it has been fine.

Mine keeps re booting intermittently, had software updates no better, now told the unit needs replacing at a cost of £900!

Could it be a faulty connection?

£900 + later and all seems well now unit replaced, feel a bit paranoid now though.
