I find that the arm rest is in the way when trying to apply the handbrake

The 'MK 2' model arm rest is too far back to use. I am 6' 2" tall with the seat set to match, and it is still too far back. Also, I recently discovered on a long motorway run that the lid only opens to around 45 degrees and doesn't remain open. Missing out on being double-jointed, I found this massively inconvenient and slightly dangerous.
