Meet The Nactus!

Added wind deflectors, darkened the rear lights and added a red strip to the grill. I'm thinking mud flaps next?

Let's see those darkened rear lights? I'm curious how they look. Grey/Red/Black is a great combination!

Looks good - does it leave a gloss or matt finish on the light units?

It's a gloss black honeycomb type mesh adhesive. The rear lights have an awkward hump in them which was annoying to fit over but got there in the end! The mesh was only 4 quid on ebay, enough for the rear lights with plenty spare. More arriving soon to do a front light test so see if I should do those too.

Ah, cool, my bad. I'd assumed it was a paint finish.
You got a close up pic of the mesh applied to the light?
Did you remove the lights to apply the adhesive?

I'll be sure to take a pic tomorrow if I remember, and nope, just cut the approx shape of the light, stuck it on using a credit card to push out any creases/bobbles, hairdryer to help any awkward bits and then used a craft knife to cut away to excess from the edges

Wow - not at all what I was expecting - thanks for posting the pic. Really suits the rear of the Cactus and you've done a neat job with them.
