Hi all,

Could you let me know how many miles the cactus will manage on a typical tank of diesel?

By typical I mean mixtures of commuting and whatever else. Not looking for long distance economy runs really. Just a typical tank usage for normal driving!

Thanks,

I manage 21-23 km per. liters (59-65 mpg) on the combined cycle (city, country and highways). 950-1000 Km (590-620 miles) is therefore realistic range if I run the tank (45 liters) completely empty (something I never do).

That figures can't be combined cycles. Citroën claims 34,5 km/liters on country driving only. If I really try, I manage 27-28 km/liters on country driving only (80 km/h). If you really manage to drive that far per liters, how do you do it?

i drive 86 km/t and use the gear to brake, and look ahead and read the traffic . it was a 35 km trip with country and city .. and allways use the eco button :) if i want to the car does 30+ km/l . but normaly on a tank its around 25- 29 km/l . i have the normaly 15" rims and michelin cross climate tires

Impressive. I've never managed more than 27-28 km/liter although I also have 15" wheels and Michelin Energy Saver tyres.
