I think it lags too much and ive heard its getting an update, i wish it would mirror my phone.

Thanks very much... My only concern was whether there are different firmwares for different equipments or all equipments mount the same firmware... Actually i went to buy another car, but when i saw this yellow c4 for the same price i opted for the yellowPeterW said:

Hi all. I have a 2016 hdi blue. Literally this evening the main screen started rebooting itself whilst driving

Hello, I wondered if anyone can help me please.
I have a 2014 Citroen C4 grand Picasso and I believe my firmware is out of date as it is software version is SMEG5.1.F.R4. Does anyone know which firmware is the current one and how I can update it please.

I have a 2015 C5 Grande Picasso, and it's still (as far as I know) running on the original software. If Citroen have updated it during servicing I haven't noticed. It may not be worth worrying about.

Thank you for your response, after looking into the firmware updates I have decided to not attempt it as a lot of people have had problems. I managed to update my maps and speed cameras successfully and that was the main thing.

Hello everyone,
I'd like to ask your help to fix the following issue:
On late October, I updated the firmware to '42.01.72.32_NAC-r0' version. Since then, my iPod Nano 4G, which I always used as my main music device in the C4 Cactus without any issue, stop connecting / working properly with the notification 'device not recognized'.
I tried to fix the issue using other USB cables, but without success.
Then, I contacted Citröen support in order to ask them to provide me an earlier firmware version, but their support department replied that they couldn't help, saying that firmware doesn't support the device.
Today, I updated the firmware to the latest '42.03.31.32_NAC-r0' version. Something changed? Not really. Unfortunately, the problem persists.
Last but not least, even their app MY CITROEN is not working since November 15th.
I honestly don't understand the logic of updating firmware, apps, etc. if don't significantly improve the user experience.
To stay the same or getting worse, which is the case, Citroen should think twice before releasing these 'wonderful' updates which just fill the forums with people complaining.
If someone have any idea how to fix this iPod connection issue or who can provide the firmware version prior to these lastest two, I would appreciate you help.

Linkmycitroen worked brilliantly - all the updates have completely ruined it -can't even export trips never mind see them in the app. Citroen shoot themselves in the foot yet again!

Oh crumbs! I was just looking up the best way to check if any updates were needed ... I don't even know how to check which version my car has, and perhaps the answer is already somewhere in the 27 ages (so far) of this thread! I'll keep looking.
What I do want to ask is about my 2019 Cactus, which is due its second service very soon. I have a decent independent who I used last year, but thought it might be prudent to have a "proper" dealer service this time to check for software updates. I know feelings are mixed on this topic, but as far as anyone knows, do I need an update at all?
I have the basic Feel version, no camera/satnav etc. Everything works (usually, although the screen has cut out a couple of times). Leave well alone?
Since I'm here, wouldn't it be good if we were able to customise the layout of the touch screen in a similar way to tablets? I'd love to be able to add or remove features on the main screen, have the heater controls AND radio/music at the same time, different colour schemes ... in my dreams.
If only Citroën would emply me as a designer: I'd fix the problems for you all!

I'm using the MyCitroën app to do all this automatically. I hope that the appropriate formatting and saving of the correct file will be done automatically!PeterW said:
